Introduction

Puerto Rico is a part of the U.S. Territory. Its capital San Juan. Its an island that was not ruled by us. When it was founded by Christopher Columbus it became part of the U.S. territory. I would be Pretty happy there. The beaches are beautiful the houses are beautiful I would see a lot of sea creatures. I would see a lot of wild animals the only problem with the beaches is that there could be a lot of sharks, jellyfish. A lot of animals that can hurt you because Puerto Rico is an Island. An island has salt water all in its water.

Climate

Puerto Rico is usually around 80 degrees which means its usually hot so you should rarely put on winter stuff like coats, boots, scarfs, gloves, and hats. You'll probably sweat a lot and by a lot i mean A LOT. I Would probably be like "TURN ON THE AIR CONDITIONER!!". I would be very hot. I would be from place to place trying to find cool air. Running around I would probably own a fan for every room. EVEN THE BATHROOM!!!!!!!

School's

Most Puerto Rican School's have uniform. Usually the girl's wear dresses or skirt's for the uniform (unless its cold), but the boy's wear dress shoe's, pants, belt's, and shirts with a collar and button. It would probably be fun to learn English if i was in a private school, but if i was in a public school i would have to listen to Spanish and possibly never learn English. I would still rather not wear uniform than stay in uniform the whole day because people might think your wearing the same clothes every day.

Holidays

One of the holidays in Puerto Rico is celebrating the Birthday of Eugenio Maria de Hostos. It is celebrating something about a women/author helps stop slavery. It is celebrated on Jan. 13. Another one is the discovery of Puerto Rico. It is celebrated on Oct. 14. It is celebrating when Christopher Columbus discovered Puerto Rico.  I would be saying "OH MY GOD THIS IS CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Just look at the picture just look at it. Can you imagine you not getting lost in that I mean LOOK AT IT!

This is how they celebrate the discovery of Puerto Rico -->

Foods

Puerto Rican foods include rice, avocados, pigeon peas, and tiny chicken or shellfish. This food is called asopao, If you think that is good wait till' I tell you about the desserts. Tembleque. A coconut pudding. It is made by cooking coconut milk, milk, salt, cornstarch, cinnamon, and sugar. It originated from Puerto Rico. I would love the food there and hopefully you'd love it to. I would because Tembleque is technically a cinnamon pudding cake jello........thing, and asopao is good because of the meat, avocado, and rice. Pretty much i like everything on that plate --------------------------------------------->

I would love it there.

Homes

The homes in Puerto Rico look very poor compared to our houses(no offense) but most of Puerto Rico's houses have a lot of gates and bars some you can even go on the roof. While our houses have garages, windows with no gates more than one floor (some Puerto Rican houses have 2 floors but ours have 3 Some that have basements) If I lived in one of their houses i would be mad that i have gates for garages, doors, and windows. I would feel better if i lived our houses.
