INTRODUCTION

TODAY I'LL BE TALKING ABOUT INDIA AND HOW MY LIFE WOULD BE.

The hotness in India starts in April up to October. Be prepared for high temperatures and humidity wherever you go. In summer, (March to May), in Northern India the weather is 105 degrees. In summer, in Southern India the weather is 95 degrees.In India lightweight clothing is recommended.


SCHOOLING

In India first to eighth grade is called, primary school. From ages 6-14.

In India, from grades 9-12, is called secondary school. From ages 14-18.

SPORTS

The country has won 8 olympic gold medals in Field Hockey. However, India's most popular sport is Cricket.

One of India's main holidays is the Holi Festival. It's usually celebrated in March, but dates change. It's celebrated throughout India, but really wherever hindus are. They celebrate it by dancing in the streets, and throwing colors on people's clothes. They do it so they can drive bad spirits away.

India's Republic day is a main holiday for them. It is celebrated in Dehli and other places in India. It happens on January 26'th. People celebrate the time away from work with small gatherings and fairs. They celebrate it because of a new Indian constitution on January 26'th.

One of India's main holiday is the Pushkar Camel Fair. It is celebrated usually on March. It is in Pushkar, Rajasthan, India. It is where people do camel racers, polo, competitions, vendors, beauty pageants, and an array of events. They do it to appreciate more than 50,000 camels.

Another One of India's main holidays is Diwali. It is celebrated throughout October through December. It is celebrated wherever there is an Indian population. How they celebrate it is, they put lights all over buildings. They do it because of good winning over evil.

One of India's main holidays is India's Independence Day. It is celebrated everywhere in India. They celebrate it by having parades. Independence day celebrates India's hard won independence from British ruling them, on August 15, 1947.

BOLLYWOOD

India's Bollywood is the same thing as America's Hollywood. The movies and the actors are like the same. The only thing mainly different is the language, but sometimes in Indian movies, they speak in English, but they are bad at it. In the movies they usually speak Hindi.
