My life in Mexico

Table of contents
This booklet is about how my life would be as a 10 year old boy in Mexico and if my life would be any different.
Some foods include conchas, tamales and enchiladas.
Some candy is something called Duvalins and Mazapans.
These are just my favorites but there are plenty more.
In Mexico schools aren't that different except that I would have English class instead of Spanish class.I would wear white shirts, ties, sweaters and long grey pants and black shoes as my uniform. An after school program I would do is swimming because it is really fun and it helps me become better at swimming. School cost $150 to $350 american dollars every year which is pretty expensive for me.
Mexico has more steadier, warmer temperatures. It is nice enough to go to the beach or play outside. But it does not snow a lot only in a couple states in Mexico.
I would love that climate I would beg to my mom to go swimming in a pool or a beach everyday but I know she would not let me.
Some holidays in Mexico are Dia de los muertos or (Day of the dead),Day of the virgin Guadalupe and day of the races. They celebrate holidays from America too like Christmas, New years eve and New years day and Independence day. Their Independence day is about winning the war against Spain and cinco de Mayo is to celebrate the battle against the French.
My favorites would be day of the dead and Christmas and independence day
In Mexico they wear the same stuff as us but some traditional clothes are sombreros,Ponchos and colorful dresses.Girls wear dresses that are usually red, green and white.Boys wear tuxedo like suits with a sombrero usually white, black or both.
My Grandma has a poncho at my house I want one too because it looks cool and is comfortable.
My Grandpa own two apartment in Mexico and he has a big shiny house and a ranch or farm and a lot of money.
When my mom was little she lived in a big orange house and she also had a ranch/farm.There are houses in Mexico like mansions and some that are rusty and even farms.
If I lived in Mexico now I do not know if my house would survive. There have been earthquakes there and I would be really scared that I would get hurt.People in Mexico have been helping rebuild and save people that are hurt.I hope nothing like this happens again.
